The Swedish population has rapidly adopted wireless technology, but what do we know about the consequences?
We are a group with the intention of informing the public of the thousands of scientific papers that demonstrate health risks from exposure to electromagnetic fields. Physicians have seen that different symptoms, ranging from sleep disorders, fatigue and depression, to Alzheimers disease and cancer, have increased with increasing levels of radiation.
SSM (The Swedish Radiation Safety Authority) has disclaimed any responsibility for long-term effects. The safety limits they use are only preventing acute thermal (heat) effects, such as heart fibrillations and eye disorders. Sweden employs the highest safety limits in the world, 10 000 times higher than Lichtenstein for example.
The number of electro-hypersensitive people in Sweden is increasing, and for those affected, the expansion of Wireless Technology, means that they need to protect themselves from microwaves even more.
The name "Faraday's House" allude to what is termed Faraday's Cage in physics, which is a room shielded from electric fields through an electrically conducting cover. We have built such a Cage in the shape of a red house with white corners, a typical Swedish country house. The House symbolizes that the radiation is everywhere, inside everybody's home. For one month, the House will be positioned at eight different locations in central Gothenburg. There you will find us sharing information and engaging in conversation.
